A new Ridge Racer game has been revealed today, and it is set to be and iPhone exclusive.

Namco Bandai haven’t released anymore info on the game, but it could be interesting to see how it turns out.

EA’s Mass Effect Galaxy has hit the App Store!

“Mass Effect Galaxy is much more action-oriented than the bestselling Xbox 360/PC RPG. You star as Jacob Taylor, a soldier on the Citadel. Taylor is a character from the upcoming Mass Effect 2.”

As Taylor, you must push back aliens with a variety of weapons, including biotic attacks. Between combat scenes, you engage in dialog with Citadel denizens to advance the story and fill in the details of Taylor’s life.

Doom Resurrection is going to hit the Apple App Store next week, and is boasted to have the best graphics on the system yet.

It will take around five hours to complete, and goes across eight levels. New features will become available when the new 3.0 Software upgrade is released, including co-op multiplayer!

The mobile developer Fishlabs has said today that the graphics on the new iPhone 3GS will go beyond what the PSP can do.

In an interview with Pocketgamer he said:

“As graphic assets need to be designed from scratch to benefit from 2.0 shaders it will be very hard to monetise the extra effort in the early days. It’s definitely not worth it for $0.99 apps,”

“It makes more sense now to have a setting for extra high graphics to run on iPod touch 2 and iPhone 3GS,” he added, “even if that means more dev efforts and testing.”

Sony have unveiled the Aino phone, which will have PS3 compatibility. It will be able to act like a PSP by using Remote Play, and can access content stores on the console. It will also be able to interact with Freeview add on, PlayTv.

“Media Home and Remote Play with PlayStation 3 are key steps in broadening the entertainment experiences users can enjoy on their Sony Ericsson phone and gives a taste of our vision of the future,”

It will be released later on in the year.
