It seems that Japanese mag Famitsu has released info on a sequel to the PS2 classic Okami, titled Okamiden. The game will see a release on the Nintendo DS.
The info below was soon pulled from Famitsu by 1UP, but take a look anyways!
Okamiden: Chiisaki Taiyo (Okami Legend: The Small Sun) returns to the fantasy-Japanese world of the original, where a younger main character fights demons in a move to restore balance to the surroundings.
As before, you’ll be able to stop time on the DS and draw onto the screen using a brush, solving puzzles and even cutting enemies in half.
A new aspect of sequel has you working in tandem with partner characters, and you can use the brush to move them independently on the touch screen to solve puzzles.
