Square Enix have announced two DLC packs for Just Cause 2 today. The Black Market Aerial Pack arrives on April 29 and The Black Market Boom Pack is set to land on May 25. They will hit the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC together, and will cost $1.99 for PS3 and PC, and 160 MS Points for the 360.

* Quad Rocket Launcher: half shotgun, half rocket launcher, all carnage
* Cluster Bomb Launcher: the natural successor to the grenade launcher
* Air Propulsion Gun: a highly experimental jet-powered blast weapon, powerful enough to send vehicles and soldiers skywards.

Valve has announced the first piece of DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 entitled, The Passing. It will include the 4 survivors of the original game, and it “brings the original Left 4 Dead survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay,”.

“Set in a small town in rural Georgia, players assume the role of the L4D2 Survivors as they meet with the L4D1 characters.

“In addition to the new co-operative campaign and associated narrative, The Passing will include new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge mode and introduce a new co-operative challenge mode of play. The Passing will also include a new ‘uncommon common’ zombie class, melee weapon, and firearm.”

It is set for a release in early Spring.

Gearbox have announced a second batch of DLC for it’s hugely popular FPS/RPG Borderlands. The content will be titled Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, take a look at details below.

“2K Games announced today that the second piece of downloadable content for Borderlands, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, will be available on December 29, 2009 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 800 Microsoft Points and on January 7, 2010 from the PlayStation Network for $9.99. The downloadable content will also be available on Windows PC.”

“Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot also adds a new bank feature, which allows players extra storage capacity for when they encounter one of the more than 16 million weapons that Borderlands has to offer; and the ability to acquire two additional skill points as quest rewards, making their characters even more powerful than before.”

Sony have released a new patch for it’s online shooter Socom: Confrontation. A DLC pack has also been announced for a December 17th release. Take a look below what the patch will include;

Two DLC packs for the amazing Batman Arkham Asylum have been announced this morning. The packs, called ‘Insane Night’ and ‘Prey in the Darkness’ will come on the 17th and the 24th. Both of the challenge maps were pre-order only exclusives that came with the Collectors Edition.

They will hit the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 at the same time!

EA have released some info on some upcoming DLC for it’s awesome skateboarding sim, Skate 2. Supposedly it is based on “the largest pursed event in the history of professional skateboarding”.

“Skate 2 has been embraced by the gaming and skateboarding community across the globe, making it the perfect stage for the Maloof Money Cup’s videogame debut,” said Joe Maloof, President of Maloof Companies. “Now players everywhere can experience the world’s greatest skateboarding championship and revel in the high-stakes excitement of the competition for themselves.”

It will be 240 MP’s, or a couple of quid on the PSN!

THQ have revealed that they are planning to release three packs of DLC for Red Faction Guerillia this year. The first will be called ‘Demons of the Badlands’, will see “a destructive single-player mission arc” set outside the games world.

Badlands will see a released on August 13th for 800 MP’s or about £6.99 on the Playstation Store.
