Google has just released a series of games for its new social networking site Google+. The site has added a new tab which provides access to all the games and technology, as well as a games button on the top of user streams that will provide updates on featured games, bookmarked games and game which have been played by your friends recently.

This tab will also allow users to send and receive game invites and to interact with their friends and other players while they are playing games. The main news feed will not be altered and will stay devoted to other interactions. This is a major difference between Facebook gaming and Google gaming, because gaming interactions on Facebook are included in the main news feed. The new tab on Google+ will work inside circles and all games will operate as they do on other sites.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is a tie-in PC game to the movie which will be available for all gaming platforms June 7. The title has a lot to offer for all gamers, even those who don't typically play Superhero or Comic Book video games.

In Green Lantern you play the role of Hal Jordan, who is one of the Universe's many Green Lanterns entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the world from Manhunters and other bad guys. In the game, Hal is voiced by Ryan Reynolds, who also plays the Green Lantern in the movie. The evil Manhunters that you must fight are androids with flawed programming who have returned to seek revenge on their makers. The game has a co-op mode which allows players to fight alongside Hal's buddy Sinestro. While the game is based on the movie, it features a totally new storyline.

Some of the most famous mystery literature for young people of all time is the Nancy Drew series. Back in 1998, Her Interactive used the girl detective for a highly successful PC gaming franchise, and now the company is taking Nancy back to her literary roots.

They have launched the Nancy Drew Mobile Mysteries: Shadow Ranch last month for Apple's iPhone and iPad portable devices. This app is in the form of an interactive novel with playable game elements. This new interactive mystery is quite different from the format of the old PC game. It creates an interactive mystery entertainment experience that draws on the foundation of Nancy Drew, using interactive puzzles, music, sound effects, word games, visuals, puzzles and game mechanics to immerse the player in the story in a new and unique way.
